Like most little girls, I could not wait to be old enough to wear a bra. Around fifth grade my girlfriends started noticing who was wearing a bra and who wasn’t.  I have been through many phases of bra envy and rebellion. How about you?

When Nancy Reagan died earlier this spring, she was being memorialized on news shows and her iconic personal style was discussed often.

She was known for her signature Reagan Red outfits, ruffles, high necklines and collars.  Several designers inspired her clothes.

I began to think about the power of personal style and how it tells a story about us by  touching the mood of an occasion, teaches people how to treat us, adds to self confidence .
